This very place was later selected as the site for founding the town of Dera Baba Nanak, where Guru Nanak spent 12 years of his life, with his sons.
This temple is situated on the bank of river Ravi. It is about eight kilometers north east of Shahpur Khandi. This temple is the earliest relics of antiquity. These are said to data back to the times of the Pandavas
Sri Namdev darbar is situated at 10 km from the city. Baba Namdev was the founder of this town and meditated here for 17 long years. Here he did miraculous deeds.
