Hazaribagh Wildlife National Park
Hazaribagh Wildlife National Park is a well known tourist attraction of Hazaribagh town. It is located approximately 19 kilometers from the main town. River Koel and its tributaries flow from the park, making it a beautiful place for nature lovers. Dense forests in the park are home to various species of animals and birds. Watch towers erected here give a wonderful view of the park and its diverse fauna, in their natural habitat.
Rajrappa Temple, one of the highlights of Hazaribagh travel is dedicated to the Goddess Chinna Mastika. It is located on top of the hill from where Rajrappa Waterfall comes down. River Damodar and river Bhera join forces to make this famous waterfall.
Telaiya Dam is an important destination to be included in Hazaribagh. This dam is built across the river Barakar and has a hydro-electric station. This picturesque dam with beautiful surroundings is visited by many tourists as it is a popular picnic spot. Suraj Kund is a place with hot water springs. There is also a cold water spring.
